Argentine striker Franco Di Santo (FDS) began his national team career at the u-20. He had a decent return in front of goal for the Argentina u-20 team. Franco Di Santo scored five goals in 25 appearances for his country at u-20 level.

Franco Di Santo played his first game for the u-20s during a friendly game against France and he was able to mark his debut with a goal. The striker was part of the Argentina squad that finished second behind arch rivals Brazil at the 2007 edition of the South American Youth Championship in Paraguay.
