Di Santo to Hannover

There are media reports that Hannover might be looking to sign Schalke striker Franco di Santo.

Hannover has just won promotion back to the Bundesliga, and they will be looking for players that will allow them to strengthen.

They have already signed Esser and Korb among others to add more defensive stability at the back, and they are now looking for players that can help them become more potent in front. However, it does seem like the head coach of Schalke 04, Andre Breitenreiter has lost faith in Franco Di Santo and it’s why the Argentine player is being used mostly as a backup option instead of being a first team player.
